Synopsis[]
Luther must outmanoeuvre a trained sniper on a mission to kill police officers. But as the body count rises, he has to uncover the killer's true motives.
Plot[]
DCI John Luther must out-manoeuvre Owen Lynch, a former soldier determined to kill as many officers as he can. As Luther investigates, he discovers the man's true motive is for the release of his father, Terry. Mark drops the assault charges on Luther and he is released. He blames Alice for setting him up and she rapidly becomes an irritating, patronising stalker.
