Laura Morgan is a fictional character featured in Luther.
Background[]
Laura was the wife of Douglas Morgan, with whom she had a daughter, Alice Morgan. Her daughter, Alice, was a child prodigy and entered Oxford University at age 13. Alice admits that she felt like a freak and hated her parents.
Involvement[]
Laura appears in S01E01, in which she and her husband are murdered. Their murder is investigated by the Serious Crimes Unit. Her daughter, Alice, is taken in for questioning and DCI John Luther quickly deduces that she murdered her parents. However, no evidence could be found against her and she was never convicted.
