Mary Day is a fictional character featured in Luther.
A potential new love for Luther, she offers the happiness and peace he deserves. Mary sees the good in Luther, sees what he could be; she is his hope and redemption. She is the opposite of Alice Morgan, gentle and kind-hearted. She is all the life that Luther wishes to have, but just like Alice, Luther is unable to be with her as he travels the fine line between ethical and unethical on his quest for justice.
